WCCC Advanced Technology Center

A full interior renovation of WCCC's Advanced Technology Center including a custom student HUB space with curved acoustic cloud panels suspended on stainless cable, high-STC sound-isolated classrooms, and a fabricated backlit entry sign designed from the architect's sketch. Framing, drywall, acoustic ceilings, doors, and hardware throughout.

HIGH STC CONSTRUCTION
Completed biology classroom renovation at West Greene School District science wing featuring custom fabricated faux maple trees with trunks and branches constructed from rough framing with stained maple trim, and green canopy sections built from radius drywall bulkheads. Masscon, Inc. self-performed demolition, framing, drywall, wood trim, and acoustic ceiling installation.

STEM Renovations

Renovation of the West Greene science wing including a biology classroom with custom fabricated faux maple trees — trunks and branches built from rough framing with stained trim, canopies from radius drywall bulkheads — and a maker space featuring a giant gear design constructed entirely in the ceiling from metal framed bulkheads and drywall.

Corridor Renovation

Renovation of the Greater Latrobe Junior High School corridor honoring the region's steel industry heritage — custom fabricated faux steel trusses, column covers, and a new exterior entrance canopy. Masscon coordinated fabrication and self-performed all framing, drywall, and finish work.

Completed Westmoreland Historical Education Center featuring a combination of stone siding and fiber cement siding on a load-bearing metal stud structure with metal trusses. Masscon, Inc. self-performed sitework, foundations, load-bearing metal stud framing, metal trusses, sheathing, drywall, acoustic ceilings, retaining walls, stone siding, and fiber cement siding.

Westmoreland Historical Education Center

New construction and historic restoration at the Westmoreland Historical Education Center, including the turn-of-the-century Steele House — plaster repair, refinished original hardwood floors, fireplace restoration, tongue and groove wood ceilings, and period trim work — alongside a new education building with load-bearing metal framing and metal trusses.
